Ladies,

Last week I had the opportunity to see Dr. Nicole M LaVoi, the University of Minnesota Tucler Center Co-Director, speak twice. One session was tips for positive engagement with sport parents (SO interesting!) and the other was titled" Beyond the Paradox for Women Coaches: High Five, Survive & Thrive. It reminded me about the lecture I went to see last fall at the U of M also given by Dr. LaVoi.  I started typing up my notes for you from that lecture when I remembered (who am I kidding - I did not remember but I read it in my notes) that the lecture was going to be posted online.

Below is a link to her lecture titled: Paradox, Pitfalls, & Parity: Where Have all the Women Coaches Gone? It is a little lengthy - but SO worth the time.

Click HERE to access the lecture. Good luck with meets tonight and tomorrow!
